KAWARTHAS-Lakefield College School will welcome over 600 skiers to its campus from across Ontario for the 2024 OFSAA Nordic Skiing Championship on February 22 and 23.
The event is presented by Wild Rock Outfitters and hosted by CISAA and Kawartha Nordic at Lakefield College School and will bring together top student-athletes from across Ontario to compete on Lakefield’s renowned Nordic skiing trails.
“We are honoured to welcome talented athletes from across the province to our campus for the 2024 OFSAA Nordic Skiing Championship,” said Todd Harris, Nordic Skiing Coach at Lakefield College School. “This event not only showcases the skill and dedication of our young athletes but also highlights Lakefield’s commitment to outdoor education and athletic excellence.”
Lakefield College School’s beautiful campus boasts some of the best Nordic skiing trails in the area and serves as the perfect setting for racing events. The school’s state-of-the-art facilities will also provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all the athletes, coaches, and spectators attending the championships.

Local residents are invited to attend the event as spectators or volunteers and are encouraged to cheer on the LCS team, local skiers, and all the other athletes competing.
