Three People Charged Following Stabbing In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to an apartment building located at 111 William Street in Lindsay to a report of a stabbing on Sunday, January 28th shortly after 11pm.   

Officers say they located a male suffering from multiple lacerations. He was treated at Ross Memorial Hospital and later released. Officers located two male suspects in the area and both were arrested and charged criminally.  Further investigation resulted in a third male also being charged

As a result of the investigation the following people have been arrested and charged:

David Dunn a 29-year-old Barrie resident was charged with Assault with A Weapon and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

Asher Ralph-Farrell a 29-year-old Toronto resident was charged with Assault with A Weapon, Assault Cause Bodily Harm and Fail to Comply with Release Order.

Dashawn Powell a 24-year-old Lindsay resident was charged with Assault with A Weapon X2, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Break, Enter a place-commit indictable offence.

Names are being released due to the serious nature of the incident.

The accused are all scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at 440 Kent St W in Lindsay on January 29th, 2024.
