KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes is refreshing its current 2020-2023 Strategic Plan for the next four years. In line with the municipal Strategic Plan, the Customer Service team is also in the process of developing a new Customer Experience Strategy set to launch in 2024 and is looking for public input.
“Customer Service is on a journey to help improve and support the municipality’s customer experience for years to come,” commented Steve Babcock, Manager of Customer Service. “To make sure we stay on the right track, it’s important we establish a strategy going forward that outlines our values and priorities for the years to come. We can’t do that without the support and input from our customers themselves.”
You can help develop the strategy by completing the Customer Experience Strategy Surveynow available on our online engagement platform, Jump In Kawartha Lakes. This survey is open until Friday, December 22. Feedback from the survey and an update on the strategy will be shared in 2024.
While the strategy is still in development, the team is guided by the following vision:
“We build trust and confidence with our customers by ensuring municipal services are accessible and convenient across all service channels. Service interactions provide a positive customer experience because we are empowered to go the extra mile,” according to city officials.
