Rainbow Pedestrian Bridge Replacement Starts December Fourth

KAWARTHA LAKES-Construction is set to begin on the Rainbow Pedestrian Bridge in Lindsay. The bridge will be closed from Monday, December 4, 2023 with work anticipated to be wrapped up by Friday, May 17, 2024.

The Rainbow Pedestrian Bridge is located on the Victoria Rail Trail, 1 kilometre north of Dobson Street and 50 metres east of the intersection of Russell Street East and Water Street in Lindsay. The bridge is set to undergo a full replacement.

A detour will be in place for the duration of the closure. Please see the map below:
