OPP Investigating Serious Collision On Highway 7

KAWARTHA LAKES-Highway 7 just outside Lindsay was closed for a short time this afternoon for a collision investigation.

City of Kawartha Lakes OPP told Kawartha 411 there was a collision between a car and a transport truck south of Lindsay, the driver of the car, a 97-year-old female from Little Britain, was transported to hospital. The extent of her injuries is unknown. The road was closed for a period of time between Kent St W and Bridle Rd while officers investigated.

There’s no word on charges.
