KAWARTHA LAKES-BGC Kawarthas has announced Kid Tech Nation programming is coming to Peterborough, Norwood and Millbrook this November.
Kid Tech Nation teaches children digital skills, coding concepts, internet safety, computational thinking, and robotics in a fun beginner-friendly and collaborative environment. Kids will be making their own video games and animation through SCRATCH, build a website, and have fun turning everyday objects like bananas, (Yes! Bananas!!) into keyboards with MAKEY MAKEY Boards.
All Technology is provided. Cost of the program is $10.00. Participants should bring a snack and water bottle with them.

Norwood (Located at the Norwood High School)
– Saturday November 4, 11, 18
– 9:30-12:30 pm.
Peterborough (Located at Edmison Heights Public School)
– Saturday November 4, 11, 18
– 1:15 pm-4:15 pm
Millbrook (Located at Millbrook/South Cavan Public School)
– Sunday November 5, 12, 19
– 9:30 am-12:30 pm
