Charges Laid After City Staff Member Reportedly Threatened

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay woman is facing charges after an incident on Wednesday.

Kawartha Lakes Police say an officer responded to a residence on Lindsay Street North for a reported threat. A Kawartha Lakes staff member was conducting business at this location when they were threatened according to police.  

As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old Lindsay woman has been charged with uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on November 23, 2023.
