KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision this morning at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Highway 7A West of Bethany.
Police along with fire and EMS were dispatched to the two-vehicle collision involving an eastbound car and a westbound transport truck on Highway 7A. The driver of the car, a 34-year-old male from Manvers Township, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Highway 7A was closed for several hours between Porter Road and Highway 35 while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
