KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP entered into an investigation after locating a vehicle on the westbound shoulder of Hwy 7.
On September 30, 2023 at approximately 3:15 am a motor vehicle was observed on the shoulder of Hwy 7 in Omemee. The driver was arrested and charged.
Kevin Rogler, 48 years of age of Peterborough is facing numerous charges:
- Failure or Refusal to Comply with Lawful Demand
- Fail to Surrender License
- Fail to Surrender Insurance Card
- Fail to Surrender Permit for Motor Vehicle
- Having Care and Control of Motor Vehicle with Open Container Liquor
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days.
