KAWARTHA LAKES-A 22-year-old Lindsay man is facing charges after a family dispute.
At approximately 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 officers were called to a residence in the area of Weldon Court and Northlin Park Road on reports of a disturbance involving a weapon. Upon arrival, officers learned two men had been in a verbal altercation which turned physical resulting in injuries according to police. The victim was transported to Ross Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old Lindsay man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
