KAWARTHA LAKE-While on patrol on Tuesday, September 19 at approximately 1am a Kawartha Lakes Police officer observed a vehicle being operated by a driver known to be prohibited. Police say the officer conducted a traffic stop on Wellington Street in Lindsay and confirmed the vehicle was being operated by a prohibited driver.
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old Fenelon Township man was arrested and charged with, operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code, fail to comply with probation X2 and one Highway Traffic Act infraction. The accused was issued a 45-day vehicle impoundment. No name was released.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on October 26, 2023.
