UPDATE: FOUND-Peterborough Police Looking For Truck In Alleged Hit and Run

UPDATE: Police say the driver has been found and charged under the Highway Traffic Act for failing to report a collision.

PETERBOROUGH-The Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit is looking for a vehicle that allegedly failed to remain after striking a hyrdo pole.

The collision happened around 8:10am on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, on Water Street in the southbound lanes near Marina Boulevard.  Police say the collision caused extensive damage to the hydro pole.

Officers are looking for information on the vehicle or driver.  It’s believed that there will damage to the dump trailer part of the vehicle and that the passenger side mirror will be missing.
