Highway 35 Reopens After Serious Two Vehicle Crash On Thursday Afternoon

KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP closed Hwy 35 for a serious collision involving two passenger vehicles on Thursday.

At approximately 2:18 pm on July 13, officers responded, alongside Kawartha Lakes Fire and EMS, to a motor vehicle collision involving a car and a pickup truck.

One driver was taken to a Toronto hospital, one driver and two passengers were taken to a local hospital.

The highway was closed from Glenarm to Pearn’s Road in Fenelon Falls for the duration of an investigation with the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionists but has since reopened.

There’s no word on charges.
