Homeless James Walking Across Canada To Raise Awareness About A Lack Of Shelters That Allow Pets

KAWARTHA LAKES-Homeless James and Muck spent a few days in Seagrave recently as part of their cross-Canada journey to raise awareness about a lack of shelters that allow pets. We caught up with James to hear more about his journey in the video below.

The next part of the journey will take James and Muck down east. James estimates this portion of the journey will take another 3-4 years. For more information, you can go to their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/HomelessJamesandMuckwah

With the passing of federal Bill C-18 you will no longer be able to access local news on Facebook or through a Google search once the bill is enacted. That means you won’t be able to find Kawartha 411 News on Facebook or through a Google search. This will devastate local news across the country including here in Kawartha Lakes. Contact your local member of parliament to let them know that local news matters to you and you want them to work with Google and Meta to come to an agreement.
