16-Year-Old Facing Drug Trafficking Charges In Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-Four people, including a teenager, are facing drug-related charges after a search warrant Thursday afternoon.

Officers from the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit and Emergency Response Team conducted a search warrant at a residence in the Park Street North and Dalhousie Street area on May 26th.

As a result, officers seized:

  • 90.3 grams of Fentanyl
  • 136.1 grams of Cocaine
  • 5.96 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine
  • 50 Hyrdromorphone pills

A 16-year-old Peterborough male was arrested and charged with:

  • Obstruct Peace Officer
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court

A 44-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)

A 30-year-old Keene woman was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

A 22-year-old Quebec man was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court

The accused are being held in custody and will appear in court today, May 26, 2023.

Peterborough Police no longer release the names of people charged with crimes.
