Kirkfield Man Wins $118,000 In LOTTO 649

KAWARTHA LAKES-Rendall Pennie of Kirkfield can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $118,002.40 in the January 4, 2023 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

Officials with OLG say this is Rendall’s first big win. “I’ve been playing LOTTO 6/49 since it came out. I put together an excel sheet with all the winning numbers and analyze the data to pick the most common numbers,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

The father and grandfather checked his ticket on the OLG App when he discovered his big win. “I heard the winning jingle and I didn’t believe it. I showed my partner and her eyes opened wide and she said, ‘No way!'”

Rendall, who works in construction, plans to pay off some bills and purchase new furniture for his house. “I will invest the rest,” he said.

“This money going to do so much for me,” Rendall smiled.

The winning ticket was purchased at Loblaws on Kent Street in Lindsay.
