Bobcaygeon Resident Charged With Impaired Driving

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 65-year-old Bobcaygeon man has been charged with impaired driving.

Police say on Saturday, February 11 at 7:15 PM a Kawartha Lakes Police constable stopped a vehicle travelling on Highway 36 in Lindsay to investigate the driver for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and placed the driver under arrested according to police.

As a result of an investigation, 65-year-old Lawrence Sarginson of Bobcaygeon has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on March 23, 2023.
