Lindsay Man Charged With Impaired Driving In Stolen Vehicle

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service has arrested a suspect in relation to a vehicle reported stolen on January 24, 2023. 

On January 25, 2023, police received two reports about a vehicle being operated by an impaired driver on Kent Street West in Lindsay. Officers responded to the area and located a stolen vehicle, as a result of an investigation, 27-year-old Michael Thomas of Lindsay has been charged with possession of property over $5000, operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while prohibited, possession of a schedule III substance and fail to comply with probation X3.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on January 27, 2023
