OPP Investigating Possible Animal Cruelty Incident Involving a Horse

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Northumberland OPP is investigating a possible cruelty to animal incident after receiving information regarding a video being posted online that involved a horse.

Police say on November 3, 2022, members of the Northumberland Detachment OPP in conjunction with the Society for the Prevention of Animal Cruelty (SPCA), embarked on an investigation after police received information regarding a video that had been posted online that involved a horse.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. It’s unclear if any charges have been laid.
