KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the public are going to be able to attend in person to view the results of the 2022 Municipal and School Board Election.

Location: Victoria Park Armoury, 210 Kent St W, Lindsay
Members of the public are welcome to gather at the Armoury to view the election results. An audio/visual presentation will show in real time the closing of the voting period taking place in Council Chambers at City Hall. Only the City Clerk, Election Staff, Candidates and Scrutineers are permitted in Council Chambers.
The voting period will close at 8pm. Anyone who has started the internet-telephone voting process before 8pm will have 20 minutes to complete their vote, and anyone in line at a voter assistance location before 8pm will be allowed to complete their vote. This means that the processing of votes cannot happen until 8:20pm at the earliest.
Results are expected to be available between 9 and 9:30pm. Results will be displayed on screen in the Armoury.
