PETERBOROUGH-A 28-year-old Toronto man is facing a number of charges after an ongoing firearms investigation by Peterborough Police.
With the assistance of the Toronto Emergency Task Force, officers with Investigative Services executed a search warrant in the City of Toronto on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
As a result, officers seized four guns including:
- A 9-millimetre handgun
- 2- 22 semi-automatic rifles
- A 12-gauge shotgun
- Ammunition
The 28-year-old Toronto man was arrested and charged with:
- Careless Storage of a Firearm X4
- Transfer firearm without authority
The accused was held in custody and will appear in court today, October 13, 2022.
