OPP Investigating After Driver Seriously Injured In Crash On Little Britain Road

KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision at approximately 8:00 pm last evening on Little Britain Road.

The motor vehicle which was traveling westbound on Little Britain Road entered the ditch just east of White Rock Road according to police. The driver, who was the lone occupant in the vehicle, sustained serious injuries and was air-lifted to a Toronto area trauma centre.

The road was closed for several hours as the OPP Traffic Collision Investigation (TCI) team was brought in to investigate.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
