Lindsay Man Charged After Police Allegedly Seize Large Quantity Of Crystal Meth And Morphine Pills

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is facing charges after the Central Hastings OPP along with the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) made a drug seizure during a traffic stop investigation.

Police say on September 20th, 2022, at about 09:30 a.m., OPP officers and members of the CSCU, arrested a male who was wanted on a warrant following a traffic stop. Police say they seized a large quantity of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine and morphine pills.

34-year-old Daniel Macpherson from Lindsay was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA) with Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine contrary to Section 5 (2) CDSA and Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Morphine contrary to Section 5 (2) CDSA

The accused was scheduled to appear on Wednesday September 21st, 2022, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
