KAWARTHA LAKES-A stubborn blaze on Thomas Drive near Bobcaygeon kept fire crews busy for hours on Sunday.
The call came in around 4:30. At least 7 trucks responded to the blaze. Residents across the water in Dunsford could see the thick black smoke billowing into the air. By 7:30 pm crews were still on scene and flames were still flickering through the roof of the home.
The residence appears to be heavily damaged. There’s no word on the cause or injuries. We have contacted the fire department but have not yet had a response.
