Heavy Police Presence In Hasting As Police Search For Suspect Who Fled From Officers In Peterborough County

PETERBOROUGH-The OPP says residents should expect a large police presence in the village of Hastings this afternoon. 

The Northumberland OPP are searching for a male, who allegedly fled on foot from a vehicle, during an incident that occurred in Peterborough County. 

The male is described as black, wearing all-black clothing with a black baseball cap. The male is wearing white shoes and has white stripes up both pant legs.

If you see this male, do not approach. Please contact the police by calling 911 immediately.

An update will be provided when the search is complete.
