Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Lindsay And Southern Kawartha Lakes

KAWARTHA LAKES-Residents in Lindsay and southern Kawartha Lakes should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued by Environment Canada.

Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:

  • Lindsay – Southern Kawartha Lakes

This severe thunderstorm is located 5 kilometres north of Lake Scugog, moving east at 50 km/h with 90 km/h wind gusts.

Locations impacted include:
Janetville, Omemee, Emily Provincial Park, Valentia, Reaboro and Downeyville.

Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions. Watch for updated statements.
