Peterborough Police Investigating Fifth Shooting Over Last Few Months

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough Police are investigating the 5th shooting over the last few weeks.

Just before 4 am officers responded to the area of London and Park Street for a complaint of a male on the ground bleeding just before 4am. EMS were already on the scene treating the male. Further information revealed the male had been shot according to police. The male victim was transported to hospital for treatment.

Police secured the crime scene for several hours. The male victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Peterborough Police continue to investigate this incident and say there is no threat to public safety.
