Peterborough Man Charged In Relation To Murder In Oshawa Last January

PETERBOROUGH-Durham Regional Police investigators have laid charges against two male suspects in relation to a homicide in January of 2022.

Officers from the DRPS Major Crime – Homicide Unit arrested and charged 19-year-old Kody Lim of Toronto with Second Degree Murder.

Twenty-five-year-old Kody Cummings of Peterborough was arrested and charged with Accessory After the Fact to the Offence of Murder.

Both males were held in custody.

On January 4, a 20-year-old male was pronounced deceased after being found with obvious signs of trauma on a residential street in Oshawa.

On Monday, January 3, 2022, at approximately 9:42 pm. members of Central East Division responded to a call on Madison Avenue for a male found with obvious signs of trauma. Police arrived to find the male victim without vital signs in a white Toyota vehicle. The victim was rushed to a local hospital but later died. Homicide and Forensic investigators were called to the scene.
