Hail Storm Pelts The Nestleton Area On Wednesday

KAWARTHA LAKES-A wicked hail storm hit the Nestleton area on Wednesday afternoon. Resident Kingsley Malcolm recorded this video of popcorn-sized hail pelting his vehicle, home and the road for several minutes. Some residents also reported hail in the Bobcaygeon area.

Environment Canada had forecast some thunderstorms but no watches or warnings were in place for Kawartha Lakes or the Scugog area.
