PETERBOROUGH-Three local residents stopped by police for driving erratically are facing impaired charges.
Officers say they stopped a vehicle driving erratically on Lakefield Road at approximately 9:30 a.m. on August 4, 2022.
41-year-old James Curtis of Asphodel-Norwood Township, was arrested and charged with:
• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
• Possession of a Schedule I substance-methamphetamine
On August 5th officers stopped a vehicle that was allegedly driving erratically on 10th Line at approximately 8:15 p.m.
37-year-old Jamie Leighton-Divell of Selwyn Township, was arrested and charged with:
• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus
• Failure to comply with release order-other than to attend court
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
On August 6th at approximately 1:15 am officers stopped a vehicle on Buckhorn Road.
36-year-old Kristy Fawcett of Selwyn Township, was arrested and charged with:
• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus
The accused all had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicles impounded for seven days.
