KAWARTHA LAKES-A 25-year-old Lindsay resident is facing charges after being stopped by police for a traffic violation.
A Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable stopped a vehicle travelling on Lindsay Street South in Lindsay, in order to investigate the driver for a traffic violation on July 22. 2022 at 1:16AM.
Police say while speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and placed him under arrest.
Nicholas Campbell has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus and one Highway Traffic Act infraction.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on August 25, 2022.Â
