Peterborough Police Investigating Theft of $26,000 Worth Of Raw Metal Product

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough Police are investigating after a significant amount of raw metal product was stolen from a Peterborough business.

It’s believed the theft happened between 11:30pm on May 15, 2022 and midnight Monday, May 16, 2022 at a business on Fisher Drive.

Police say during the investigation officers learned that a security gate lock had been cut and a large white van pulled into the back lot before leaving about 20 minutes later.  A light-coloured SUV was also seen in the area around the same time.  It’s estimated the metal was worth about $26,000.
