Peterborough Police To Conduct National Search For New Chief

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Peterborough Police Services Board has engaged Phelps Executive Search Group to conduct a national search for the Peterborough Police Chief position.

“The Phelps Group has extensive experience in Executive Search including over 20 years of working with many Municipal governments including the City of Peterborough over the last 5 years,” stated a press release from the board. “In addition, The Phelps Group has provided Executive Search services to the City of Toronto, Toronto Police Services Board and the Ontario Provincial Police.”

Officials say the Phelps Group will be working closely with the Peterborough Police Services Board and the Peterborough Police Service.

Then Deputy Chief Tim Farquharson was named Acting Chief.
