Heavy Police Presence On Mary Street West In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-There was a heavy police presence on Mary Street West in Lindsay late Tuesday afternoon.

OPP and officers from Kawartha Lakes Police Service (KLPS)are on the scene on Mary Street West across from the Crayola building. Witnesses say there are a number of officers involved, some with rifles.

Police blocked off the road in front of the building.

The OPP said they were assisting KLPS in an investigation. All KLPS would say is that it was a “police investigation and no charges were laid.”
