Two People Charged After Resident Allegedly Threatened With A Knife Held To The Throat, Hair Extensions Cut Off In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A scary morning for a resident in Lindsay after two people forced their way into the victims apartment according to police.

On December 17, 2021, at 8:00am, Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a call for unwanted people in the victim’s apartment.  Police say the victim told them two parties had forced their way into the residence, threatened the victim with a knife by holding it to the victim’s throat and face and then cutting hair extensions from the victim’s head.

The victim was able to get away and contact police and only minor injuries were reported. 

Charged with Break and Enter, Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats and Possession of a weapon is 38-year-old Matthew Wayne Taylor of Lindsay who was held in custody for a Bail Hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice – Lindsay which occurred on December 17, 2021.

Charged with Break and Enter and Assault with a weapon is 33-year-old Tiffany Frocking of Lindsay who is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 27, 2021 to answer to the charges.

Police now say the two parties were known to each other.
