COVID Outbreak Declared At Parkview Public School In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Parkview Public School in Lindsay.

According to the Trillium Lakelands District School Board website, the school has two student cases of the virus. One classroom is closed but the school remains open.

Today in Ontario there are 864 cases in the fully vaccinated and 623 in the unvaccinated. Since November 8th there have been 61 new cases of COVID in those who are unvaccinated, 54 new cases in the fully vaccinated, 4 partial and 2 not yet protected in the health unit catchment area.

Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay has one person with COVID admitted.
