Kawartha Lakes Police Investigating After Male Found With Injuries, Requiring Medical Attention

KAWARTHA LAKES – The Kawartha Lakes Police Department is investigating after they received a call that someone had been assaulted on Devan Court in Lindsay.

According to police, officials received the call on Thursday September 2 at 7:30 a.m. Police say officers responded to the call and located a male who was suffering from injuries, requiring medical attention.

Investigators believe the male was assaulted by one or more unknown parties at the Devan Court location sometime during the early hours of September 2. Police say during the assault the male sustained serious injuries and this is believed to be isolated, there is no threat to public safety.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses that may have information related to this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service at 705.324.5252.
