Outdoor Fitness Classes Start In Bobcaygeon And Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES–As part of the provincial Stage 1 reopening, the Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation and Culture Division is pleased to offer Outdoor Fitness Classes beginning June 14. Classes will take place exclusively outdoors and will be based out of the Lindsay Recreation Complex and the Forbert Memorial Pool and Workout Centre in Bobcaygeon.

Outdoor Walk ‘N’ Sculpt Fitness classes are suitable for all fitness levels and open to participants 16 years of age or older. These fun outdoor classes will incorporate walking and body weight exercises for the duration of the class, followed by stretching.

Classes begin June 14 through July 9, 2021. Outdoor Walk ‘N’ Sculpt classes are free of charge but participants must reserve their space in advance through the Kawartha Lakes Online Program Registration website. Space is limited to 9 participants per class; participants will be required to pre-register in advance for each class and drop in’s will not be permitted.
