Police Looking To Identify Suspect In Alleged Theft Of Tools

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP is actively investigating an alleged theft and are seeking public assistance to identify the suspect.

Police say just after 1:00a.m. on May 18, 2021 the victim was working at the Ultramar gas station located in Manilla when an unknown person allegedly grabbed a tool bag and drove off. The bag contained approximately $2 000.00 worth of mixed tools according to police.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned male, with a tall and thin build and he appears to be bald. At the time of the incident he was wearing a t-shirt and black sweat pants. The suspect vehicle is described as a Chrysler 300 with some damage on the passenger side.
