KAWARTHA LAKES-A 36 year old Lindsay woman is facing multiple charges related to alleged thefts, frauds and shoplifting.
Police say on May 19, 2020, the Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a theft from vehicle call. The complainant reports that a debit card was stolen from the vehicle and that it had been used at a local convenience store to make some purchases.
Charged with one count of Use Stolen Credit Card, is 36-year-old Julie Mitton of Lindsay. A second charge of Use Stolen Credit Card from an incident on May 5 was also laid.
Police say Mitton is outstanding on 28 Criminal Charges relating to thefts from vehicles, frauds and shoplifting and was held for a bail hearing to occur on May 20, 2021 in the Ontario Court of Justice.
