KAWARTHA LAKES-A 31 year-old woman is facing an impaired driving charge after a crash near Peterborough.
Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Centre Line at approximately 4:00pm yesterday afternoon. Police say the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch.
The uninjured driver was found to be under the influence of drugs according to police.
Kassandra-Nia Imming of Curve Lake First Nation, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 23, 2021.
