KAWARTHA LAKES-The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit Has declared a Coronavirus Outbreak at the Central East Correctional Centre in Lindsay.
The outbreak is on Unit 5 and in the kitchen. The Ontario government website is reporting 12 cases at the jail.
There are nine new cases reported in Kawartha Lakes today with 39 active cases in the area. 56 people have died from Coronavirus in the City of Kawartha Lakes since the pandemic began.
