36-Year-Old Peterborough Man Facing Child Pornography Charges

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 36-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges in connection with an online investigation.

On April 29, 2021, officers executed a search warrant at a Peterborough residence where various electronics were allegedly located and seized.

Police say on May 05, 2021, as a result of an investigation, 36-year-old Raymond Parsons of Peterborough was arrested and charged with possessing, accessing and distributing of child pornography

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on May 5, 2021 at which time he was released.  He is scheduled to return to court May 27, 2021.

The Peterborough Police is a member of the Provincial Strategy to protect children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the internet.
