Peterborough Police Make Arrest In Murder Of 20 year Old Tali Nolan

KAWARTHA LAKES-After a year-long investigation Peterborough Police have made an arrest in the murder of Tali Nolan.

Police say on March 25, 2021, the Peterborough Police Major Crime Unit arrested 50-year-old James Emery at his home on Rubidge Street in connection with the death of 20-year-old Nolan. He’s been charged with first-degree murder.

Tali was found murdered in the basement of a McDonnell Street residence on April 3, 2020.

The arrest is the culmination of a year-long investigation into Tali’s death. As the matter is now before the courts no further details about the case will be discussed according to police.

The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court on Friday, March 26, 2021 for a bail hearing.
