Business In Lindsay Broken Into For A Second Time

KAWARTHA LAKES-A business on Peel Street in Lindsay has been broken into for a second time.

Police say on March 16, 2021 Kawartha Lakes Police responded to a break and enter to a Peel Street business.  On March 18 at 7:40am staff arrived for work at the same business on Peel Street to find an intruder who fled the scene. Video surveillance revealed suspect had gained access through the rear door, described as male, wearing dark hooded jacket, blue trackpants with a white stripe and a dark-coloured baseball cap.

As a result of the investigation, 44-year-old William Mahon of Lindsay has been arrested and charged with break and enter with intent X 2 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on May 6, 2021.
