Family Dispute Leads To Assault, Threatening Charges In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A local resident has been charged with assault with a weapon after a family dispute in Lindsay.

On February 26th at 10:20pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a family dispute at a residence in Lindsay.

Police say as a result of an investigation an adult has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm and breach of recognizance.

The accused was held in custody and attended a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
