Charges Laid After 911 Call Where Caller Hung Up Before Voice Contact Was Made

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 59-year-old man is facing charges after a 911 call where the caller reportedly hung up before any voice contact was made.

Police say on February 27, 2021 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP were called to a residence in the former Manvers Township area in response to the call.

Upon arrival at the residence, the officers entered into an investigation and located a person on the property who was bound by a court order with the condition not to be at that residence.

As a result, Daniel Terrill, 59 years of age, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code related offences:

  • Failure to comply with undertaking
  • Fail to comply with Probation order

The accused was held for a bail hearing and appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on February 28, 2021.
