Celebrate Five Counties Winterfest Virtually On Family Day Weekend

KAWARTHA LAKES-The 2021 Five Counties Children’s Centre Winterfest is back with a visual version this year.

Winterfest 2021 will offer craft demos, musical entertainment, contests, kids’ activities and much more family fun!

Canadian Tire stores in Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg, Campbellford and Fenelon Falls have joined forces as our lead sponsor to help make this event possible. Local owner Ralph Moulton notes that “Five Counties Children’s Centre is a part of all of our area’s Canadian Tire communities. We felt it was important that we come together to support our kids and hope you will join us.”

Many local businesses, groups and individuals have donated items for the online auction portion of the event to help raise funds for the more than 4,000 kids who receive treatment from Five Counties Children’s Centre each year.

“Our Winterfest event is all about kids and their families as is Five Counties Children’s Centre,” says CEO Scott Pepin. “The Centre continues to be an essential service in lockdown. Your support helps ensure that although Winterfest isn’t an in-person event this year, it will still bring us together to support the kids who rely on our staff now and in future.”

They invite everyone to join the fun at www.fivecounties.on.ca or link via our Facebook page. Celebrate virtually on Family Day weekend, February 12-15.

Five Counties Children’s Centre has been dedicated to supporting children and youth with physical, developmental and communications needs for more than 45 years.
