Four New Cases Of Coronavirus In Kawartha Lakes Today

KAWARTHA LAKES-There are four new cases of Coronavirus being reported in the City of Kawartha Lakes today according to the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit.

That brings to total number of active cases currently to 64 with the health unit tracking 70 high risk contacts.

It’s unclear if any of these new cases are linked to an outbreak at Caressant Care on McLaughlin Road in Lindsay. As of Friday there was 36 cases linked to the home. 20 resident cases and 16 staff cases according to the health unit.

There’s been 392 cases of the virus to date in Kawartha Lakes with 305 resolved.
