KAWARTHA LAKES- A 29 year old Lindsay man is facing impaired driving charges.
On January 15, 2021 at 10:58pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was called about a possible impaired driver on Kent Street West in Lindsay. Police say an officer located the vehicle and while speaking with the driver observed signs of impairment, the driver was placed under arrest. 29-year-old Kevin Palmer of Lindsay has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on March 18, 2021.
Police say members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
